How to Sign Up for RedotPay and Shop Online This Black Friday

A step-by-step guide to checking eligibility, creating your account, funding a virtual card, and making your first purchase.

You find a great Black Friday deal, add it to your cart, and reach checkout.

Then comes the problem: your local card doesn’t support international payments.

For some shoppers, access to a suitable payment card is the biggest obstacle to buying online. Others already have a credit card but prefer using a separate card for purchases and subscriptions.

RedotPay may be an option for eligible users. Its card lets you spend supported crypto balances through card payments, so the merchant does not need to accept cryptocurrency directly. Learn about the RedotPay card.

This guide walks you through the setup process — and the costs and restrictions to check before putting money into your account.

1. Check whether you can get a card

Do this before depositing money.

RedotPay has separate rules for account registration, access from your location, and card issuance. Being able to create an account does not automatically mean you can get a card.

For readers in India: RedotPay currently lists Indian residents as ineligible for both virtual and physical cards. India also cannot be used as a card billing address. Check the official card issuance restrictions.

For readers in Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and elsewhere, check all three official lists:

A country’s absence from a restriction list is not confirmation that every funding method is available or permitted locally. Check the rules that apply to you, particularly for buying, transferring, and spending cryptocurrency.

Always use your real identity and residential address.

2. Create your RedotPay account

Start with my RedotPay referral link, then download the app through RedotPay’s official website.

Follow the registration prompts to sign up using your email, Google account, or Apple ID. If an invitation-code field appears, enter q890c before completing registration — referral codes cannot be added afterward. Official signup and referral rules.

Get 5 USDs in welcome spending credit. RedotPay currently offers new users this credit for online or in-store purchases once their card is active. It expires 30 days after receipt and cannot pay the card issuance fee. This is RedotPay’s general welcome offer; check the terms displayed during signup to confirm what you’ll receive. Official reward terms.

3. Verify your identity

You must complete identity verification before proceeding with the card setup.

Have an original, valid government-issued ID ready, and follow the document options shown for your country.

The process generally involves:

  1. Entering your personal information exactly as it appears on your ID.
  2. Photographing your identification document.
  3. Completing a face scan.
  4. Checking the information read from your document.
  5. Providing your current residential address.
  6. Answering a short questionnaire and supplying extra documents if requested.

You must be at least 18 years old, and your ID must have at least three months of validity remaining when submitted. Identity verification requirements.

Use clear lighting for your photos and double-check your details before submitting. Allow time for review rather than starting minutes before a sale ends.

4. Add funds to your account

RedotPay’s setup guide lists on-chain crypto deposits and an in-app Buy crypto option. Available methods depend on your account and region. Funding and setup overview.

Before proceeding, make sure you have a supported, lawful funding method you understand.

If you already hold supported crypto in your own wallet or exchange account:

  1. Open RedotPay and tap Deposit.
  2. Select the asset you want to deposit.
  3. Select a supported network.
  4. Copy the deposit address.
  5. Open the sending wallet or exchange and choose withdrawal.
  6. Enter the address and select the same asset and network.
  7. Review the amount and fees, then confirm.
  8. Wait for the deposit to appear in RedotPay.

These steps follow RedotPay’s official deposit instructions.

The asset and network must match on both sides. Check the minimum deposit too. An unsupported transfer may not be credited, and recovery is not guaranteed. Deposit precautions.

For a first transfer, consider a small test amount above the stated minimum, accounting for withdrawal fees.

5. Apply for your virtual card

For online shopping, start by looking at the virtual card option.

RedotPay currently lists a standard US$10 one-time virtual-card issuance fee. Check the price displayed in your app before paying.

To apply:

  1. Open the Card tab.
  2. Choose the virtual-card application option.
  3. Enter your billing address in English.
  4. Review your details and the issuance fee.
  5. Tap Pay to submit the application.

The issuance fee pays for creating the card; budget separately for your shopping balance. RedotPay says the application cannot be canceled or refunded after payment.

Its current help page also describes a 5 USDs welcome reward for purchases. That reward cannot pay the card issuance fee. Check the offer shown in your account rather than assuming a bonus is guaranteed. Virtual-card instructions and terms.

6. Make your first online purchase

Once your card is available, open its details in the app.

At the merchant’s checkout:

  1. Choose card payment.
  2. Enter your RedotPay card number, expiry date, and security code.
  3. Use the billing details registered with your card.
  4. Review the order total and currency.
  5. Complete any payment-verification prompt.
  6. Check both the merchant’s order confirmation and your RedotPay transaction history.

Start with a small purchase from a merchant you trust before relying on the card for a larger Black Friday order.

Do not assume every website or subscription will accept it. A virtual card also does not change a store’s shipping restrictions or regional purchasing rules.

If a payment fails, check your balance, card details, billing address, and the reason shown in the app before trying again.

7. Check whether the deal still saves you money

The sale price is only part of the total.

Before buying, account for:

  • The card issuance fee, if this is your first purchase.
  • Any funding or network withdrawal fees.
  • Applicable card conversion and transaction fees.
  • Shipping, taxes, and import charges.

Review RedotPay’s current fees and limits alongside the merchant’s checkout total.

A $10 discount may be less attractive if you need to pay for a new card just to use it. The calculation can look different if you expect to make several purchases.

Get ready before the sale starts

A separate shopping card can help you organize spending and keep your primary card details off additional merchant websites. It does not make an unfamiliar store trustworthy or guarantee the same protections as your existing credit card.

For Black Friday and Cyber Monday, give yourself time to verify your account, understand the fees, and test a purchase. Keep your login codes and card details private, and review recurring subscriptions after signing up.

If RedotPay fits your needs and you are eligible, you can begin with my referral link or enter q890c during registration.

Check eligibility first, understand how you’ll fund the account, and make sure the final purchase price is still a good deal.
